Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL

It appears the Pixel 4 XL will have a larger top bezel to house dual front-facing cameras, other sensors ( perhaps for hand gestures ) and an earpiece speaker for calls, instead of going down the increasingly common notch route There's no physical fingerprint reader in the renders either, so the Pixel 4 might well have an in-display fingerprint sensor or even forego such scans altogether in favor of a Face ID-style unlocking system.

We already know what the rear of Google's upcoming Pixel 4 looks like, and renders of the other side of the XL version suggest the smartphone will ditch the widely-derided notch of the Pixel 3 XL Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks, has a solid track record with leaks, and he and Pricebaba teamed up for more renders of the Pixel 4 XL based on leaked specs. There will be two smartphones again: Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. As early as February, we learned Google Pixel 4 on Android Q would have improved Dual-SIM function, dual rear and dual selfie cameras, and a unique square camera module. If this image turns out to be true, we can see that the Pixel 4 XL will feature a thick bezel and a much smaller chin bordering the display, rather than a notch which has been a popular design choice for other devices.

As you can see, there's no longer any doubt about what the back of the phone looks like, nor is there any doubt that the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be the first Google phones to feature dual-lens rear cameras. The first of Google's phones to launch without any obvious hardware partner branding both the Pixel and Pixel XL were designed to push some of the key benefits of Google's Android operating system. In April we learned that Google's phones have codenames internally, and some Googlers could actually be testing Android Q on the Pixel 4. Leaks confirmed the codenames are Coral” for the Pixel 4, Needlefish” for an unknown device, and apparently Flame” for the Pixel 4 XL.

The lack of a physical fingerprint sensor suggests Google might finally add an in-display fingerprint sensor to its phones, starting with the Pixel 4 XL. But the biggest Pixel 4 XL design surprise is on the front, and to put it simply, it is not a good one. Based on some early leaks, it appears as though this year could be a repeat with the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. We're still three-ish months before Google is set to unveil both devices, but we already know what the phones will look like and have an idea of some of its unique features. Google Pixel 4 series is expected to pack dual rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor, and run on Android Q.

Apart from the creative colors and the notch at the top of the display in that first image (the actual phones will reportedly have normal bezels above the screens, like it's 2016), they're likely a good representation of what we can expect from Google's Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL later this year.
